BUILDING FOR MISSION
At the invitation of Bishop Alpha Mohamed, since 2004 MOSTRUST USA has served 120 AIDS orphans in Manyoni, Tanzania. Beginning with 57 children, there are now 98 orphans in the program. All have lost both parents to AIDS. Each child is matched to a caregiver, usually a relative who commits to their care. The Manyoni Orphans Sponsorship Trust in Tanzania coordinates this, providing for all the child’s needs including education and medical care. This is funded by U.S. orphan sponsors and general donors to MOSTRUST USA.
The Tanzania MOSTRUST has been operating from a small space provided by the Anglican Rift Valley Diocese. This has long been outgrown. More space is needed for staff offices and to provide adequate room to process orphan clients and caregivers. With more than 10% of Tanzania infected with AIDS, the MOSTRUST ministry is exploding!
Bishop Alpha has asked for your help in providing the $28,000 for the trustees in Tanzania to buy a centrally located building in Manyoni, convenient to bus and rail. This well constructed structure will advance the mission and ministry of MOSTRUST. |
